Quality analysis inside a system - pCoq
Control quality, or in general quality of any traffic flow, needs to be measured, whether in downtown areas or on highways. Only control quality or traffic quality of unregulated traffic flow is known, it can be assessed politically or technically and lead to a desired point of operations within the framework of traffic management.

Quality analysis from the outside - GPS Analyzer
In addition, we have developed a system-independent tool that we call GPS Analyzer. It is based on GPS measurement recorded by mobile measuring devices, as they can be found on any smart mobile phone today. After recording, the collected data is evaluated with the GPS Analyzer.

Traffic monitoring - pCoq
Traffic data needs to be measured continuously for controlling traffic light systems, locally or in a whole area. This needs also to be done if traffic information needs to be displayed or fed into other systems. A picture of traffic flows and states can be generated from raw traffic data. The more data can be measured, the better the picture. The picture is also better the more sophisticated the data is processed and linked together. Raw measurements do not have much significance. Measurements must be prepared, pre-processed. This processing takes place in the so-called observer, the traffic observer. It collects all information and calculates a mathematical representation of the processes. For this task we also use pCoq, often online.

Network control - pCoq Net
A traffic observer can intervene in the observed system on the basis of online quality analyses, perceiving rule-based network control. This is done by pCoq Net.

Interfaces

Data storage - VPD
We have developed a file-based data storage system for edge-accurate traffic measurement data. We call this format VPD, Vehicle Protocol Data, the management program we call VPDB. The specification of the format is public, and its use is royalty-free. A number of import and export formats are supported. Advantages are a simple, local usability of data for quality analysis and a fast access times.
